Yes, we have many athletes that use TriDot to train for pure running events.
Once you've onboarded and have a TriDot account (see below), go to your "Preferences" and select "Run Only" under "Non-required Sessions to Include (Optional)." Set your Run Volume to Standard or High.
Be sure to add your race into RaceX since your training will be customized for your event. Note that if you also have a triathlon on your schedule in RaceX, TriDot will still prescribe you swim and bike sessions to prepare you well for your triathlon.
If you choose to include swim and bike sessions as cross-training, you can set the volume to Low for those sessions, and keep your primary focus on the run. Set your Run Volume to Standard or High.
