Your Dot Scores are performance ability measures based on your normalized functional threshold power or pace (FTP) with 1 being the slowest and 100 being at, or near, world-record pace. Your Dot Scores are normalized for age and gender so you can compare your performance ability against those similar to you. Your RunDot, for instance, allows you to accurately measure improvement, and compare your performance ability against other runners.
Your dot scores are determined via assessments and calculated using temperature, humidity, and elevation. It is possible for your dot score to decrease with a faster or more powerful assessment performed more favorable environmental conditions than a previous assessment.
SwimDot, BikeDot, and RunDot Scores can be compared to each other to understand your relative strengths and weaknesses across disciplines.
