Overkicker - Swim Form

Overkicker is one of TriDot's six Swim Form classifications.

 

Characteristics

  • May have prior swim experience
  • Good body position
  • Over-dominant kick (strong and continuous)
  • Often lacks body rotation
  • Not faster proportionally with kickboard
  • Relatively slow with pull buoy and kick board (compared to swim)
  • Often breathless
  • Threshold pace:  1:25 – 2:15 / 100m
