Lightweight - Swim Form

Lightweight is one of TriDot's six Swim Form classifications.

 

Characteristics

  • Little, if any, swim experience
  • Anxious and uncomfortable in the water
  • Lacks confidence
  • Typically kicks from the knees
  • Holds head high in water to breathe
  • Pulls with straight arm
  • Allows lead arm to drop when breathing
  • Similar to Tarzan but without the power
  • Threshold pace:  1:50 – 3:00+ / 100m
