Swim golf is a great way to measure swim form and fitness at the same time.
To calculate your swim golf score, swim one lap (50) and count your total strokes. Each time one arm pulls, count one stroke.
Add the number of strokes to your time in seconds for the 50.
If your stroke count is 38 for the 50 and you complete it in 40 seconds, your swim golf score is 78. You can see improvement when you can cover the same distance in less time and/or in fewer strokes.
